Memorial Day 2012 - Priceless Photo - The Sacrifice our Soldiers Make

Memorial Day 2012 - Priceless Photo

My sister sent me this touching photo today that looks exactly like my little niece. It brought tears to my eyes thinking of all the families that have sacrificed so much to keep our country safe and our freedom intact.  How can we ever repay them for their years of service away from their families?  How can we show them our sincere gratitude today - and every day? A simple thank you seems so small in comparison to what these brave men and women have given to us.  But yet it's something we can all do each time we are in the presence of a present or past military member.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE - WE HONOR AND APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE GIVEN

Howdy and morning Anna Banana

Anna Banana my friend, a simple Thank You is much appreciated and means much more than you might think to us. A specially to those of us which Serviced in VIETNAM.

Something that my lady does, she buys and gives Vet's a Gift Card from Dunkin Donuts for a cup of coffee besides telling them Thank You for their Service.

Have a good one

Anna - thanks for sharing this touching picture!  The very least we can do is to say thanks to all those who have serviced so well, given up so much and lost so much.  We MUST never forget to say thanks but also to do other acts of kindness for these brave men and women throughout the year.

Anna, I can't imagine being away from my family for months or a year...and having to fight every day to stay alive and help my comrades do the same.

Think of the sacrifices our military make for us, and be extremely grateful.

This photo really makes you realize how much they sacrifice, not only the time with their family, but possibly their life. So proud of our men and women!

Anna -- I think of them and pray for all our brave men and women in the military. We are so removed from all they have to endure that many of us become complacent.  We must never forget those who have sacrificed their lives  to protect our freedom and as a result, allow us to enjoy the freedom we do on a daily basis.
