The committee will listen to testimony about specific CAM activities, and anyone may testify. The committee will also consider written testimony submitted prior to the meeting.
After it finishes gathering facts and testimony, the committee will consider whether a CAM engaged in any of the specific activities is practicing law. The committee could then choose to issue an advisory opinion on the selected activities and submit it to the Florida Supreme Court for review. However, the committee could issue an advisory opinion that finds the activity isn’t the practice of law; or the committee could choose not to release an advisory opinion at all.
