I have heard from many of us full-time Realtors(R) that the market is picking up...I sure am busier than I expected. With 7 active buyers and 2 listings to do this week...I am happy to say...I told you so.

Keeping a positive attitude about our profession is so important. What you exude to your clients/customers/friends will become contagious is you are consistant in what you preach!

The confidence your clients/customers/friends/leads see in the consistant information you provide with a confidents attitude will be projected into comments/conversations at work and other places as well. Parties, family gatherings, relatives.

People smile at confidence and frown at negativity.

How do you approach people? Do you smile? So you project confidence? Are you BELIEVABLE?

These are important qualities of a Real Estate agent/Realtor(R)...Do you fit the position?

I admit I am very surprised at how early things have picked up this year.  Not necessarily in transactions getting into escrow.  But buyer interest in looking and buying, if not know then later, is really coming in early this year.

With all the snow we have had in New Hampshire, I thought it would be a slow winter -- I was wrong -- I am very busy - I am just praying there are not too many snow storms. This week we are thawing out!  I have a good feeling about 2008!

Yes Karen - all attitudes are contagious! So glad you have a good one. February is historically our most active application month and March our most active closing month--every year, year after year. Let's work for a fantastic March and look at the numbers in April and have good, positive report.

Yes, same here, lots of activity over the past few weeks.  Some of my listings are being shown twice in one day!  That's a BIG change!  Every place I go people talk about real estate and always ask me "How are YOU doing in this market?  My answer is always the same "GREAT!".  I then give a small example and ask them if they know anyone buying or selling.  This opens lots of doors!  I take every opportunity to get a lead.  My attitude stays POSITIVE at all times in any market!  That's the name of the road to success!!

Yes it seems when things are good, you feel good, your attitude is good, you smile more and make people feel at ease, it's just contagious.
