I don't know if you have to be invited to tell your shaggy dog's story, or not. Since my typing is currently handicapped by having a 16 lb, poodle on my chest, I figured I qualified.

My next door neighbor, a veterinarian works with the Animal Defense League in San Antonio. A pregnant mama poodle was dumped on their doorstep, she gave birth the next day. Needless to say, the neighbor brought home all three puppies as soon as they were old enough.  

The only male of the litter was brought over and laid in my husband's lap (my hubby is handicapped) The dog was fiesty, rowdy and full of energy. Since he weighed almost 2 lbs at that time, my husband called him "Killer" I took it a step further and named him Jerry Lee Lewis, whose nick name is Killer. While this picture doesn't do him justice, I like it because he looks like he is an extra for Meerkat Manor!
