Great post and beautiful home, I wonder about Pacita's comment though, would saying family room or kids welcomed be a violation. I don't think so, we have become too political.

Not being politically correct at all....

I don't know about your area...but it would be a violation in ours to describe a property as being a good family home for kids (discriminates against singles, for example). Members of our realty office attend Legal Updates from our counsel, and this was a very hot topic and needed to be clarified. So we don't and we won't describe a property by mentioning family and kids.

Pacita, you may be right - though the description is taken from our MLS description - so I believe, it should be fine or else someone should have contacted Susan. I will go over the link you mentioned (in fact right now going over my CE course describing the same - fair housing advertising....

Endre, yes, our market is 'smoking' too - it's surprisingly hot and have seen many multiple offers scenario. Again, that goes for homes that are priced right.
