It is a growing are of the community. I trust they will do well. Happy Memorial Day, Eileen! Good to see you.
Texas Roadhouse is a great place to eat and enjoy peanuts. Enjoy some Texas fun
That's great to hear, Charles. I'll definitely have to check it out.
We have one here in Reno, and it is one of my favorite places. The peanuts are a nice change from chips and salsa, and the food is really good. Great value for the price. Plus they play upbeat Texas-style tunes, and the waitresses periodically do a little line dance routine to keep the party atmosphere going. I think you'll enjoy it.
We have one in NH. The food is OK, but nothing to rave about.. a bit pricey too for the quality.
Texas Roadhouse is the type of restaurant that will do well in a high traffic area and appeal to families.
It sounds like the Texas Roadhouse has located themselves well, help that the locals take the opportunity to check it out Mike.
Hello Mike,
The Texas invasion has begun (LOL)...enjoy!
Glad to hear that, Linda. I look forward to giving them a try. Thanks for commenting.
Joan, good to know. Hopefully, ours will be better quality. If not, they won't last long here.
That's good to hear, Roger. That corridor is getting lots of attention lately.
Both ends of Winchester are growing faster than any other parts, Tom. Fortunately for me, my office is on the south end, right in the middle of the lastest wave. 8-)
Bring 'em on, Lisa. My all time most favored secretary was from Austin. Her husband took a job in another state. I offered to fly her back and forth every week. 8-) We love Texans around here.
LOL I am liking #2 comment!
Been a while but from memory thought it was a good time. Better though are the 170 jobs!
Mike
Sounds like a great addition to the Winchester area. Love the idea of more jobs, too!
Jeff
Sounds like a fun place, David. Have a great week.
Jeff, the jobs are definitely a plus. We're slightly above the state average in unemployed, but we're below the national average.
Good Morning Mike. I'm sure this restaurant opening will help the community. I see the plentiful positions that are coming with that. That indeed is a blessing along with having another place to dine. I don't eat red meat often but having a steak once in a while is great.
That sounds like me, Cheryl. I'm not much of a meat eater, though I do occasionally. We've added a half dozen major chain restaurants over the past year. That's a good sign.
Mike, we took my Mother out to eat in a Texas Roadhouse in California. She had the "Road Kill". It was a lot of fun to see all the staff do some line dancing in the aisles. You're going to enjoy it.
Meat and spuds does it for me...Peanuts while I am waiting? YES...The roadhouse near me serves a wicked roasted giant yam and any meat is just a delight there...I have to refrain from going there too much as it can turn into a addiction. Hand carved meats?..whoa
If you like a place that you can get good ribs and throw peanut shells on the floor than Texas Roadhouse is going to be a hit. It's one of my favorite places for ribs.
That does sound like fun, Michael. Thanks for the menu info. 8-)
It seems to get rave reviews, Richie. I'm looking forward to it.
Sounds great, Rob.
Mike, This is great news for Winchester, VA ... a great new restaurant and more jobs which helps to support the community. I've never heard of Texas Roadhouse - don't have them in my area of California. While I do not eat meat, I do love peanuts!
I'm not a big meat eater, Kathleen, but I am so glad to see more jobs coming to the area.
