Atlantis Shot of the Day…Rocky came for a look too

In our little piece of paradise in the City of Atlantis of S. Florida we attract various wildlife on a continuous basis. It includes sea turtles, ducks, egrets, snakes, iguanas, opossums, tree lizards etc.

Several months ago I was working this little patch of garden where my pineapples are growing and out of my peripheral, I see this dark body practically walking by. Thinking it was the neighbors cat, it was really Rocky Raccoon.

I usually have my better camera, but always carry my cell phone. Enjoying nature one day at a time…..

Winston

It looks like Rocky the Raccoon has made himself at home at Atlantis in Palm Beach County Florida.

Good luck and success.

I'd love to run into sea turtles, ducks, egrests, snakes, iquanas, & tree lizards.  Not so sure I want to run into an opossum or raccoon though.  Still, very cool. -Kasey

Hi Winston,

Great find. I hope raccoon's do not bother the garden? Sounds like you have a little piece of eden there.

Have a great week.
