It seems that remote controlled vehicles (planes, boats, cars, etc) have become quite the rage over the past few years. Lake Havasu City isn't going to be left out of the RC craze. The Havasu Sport Flyers Association is flying high in Havasu with its weekly gatherings in Rotary Park. And they're always willing to welcome new members.
Every Tuesday morning, from sunrise until 10am, members of the Havasu Sport Flyers Association gather at the south end of the park to fly their model seaplanes over Lake Havasu. If the weather gets too windy, the weekly meeting moves to Friday mornings. It's absolutely free to fly your RC plane.
