Nevada Humane Society's "Walk for Animals"
Saturday, June, 2, 2012 at the Sparks Marina Park, You can help homeless dogs and cats and have a great time!
Registration 8 a.m to Noon Festivities 9 am to 1 pm.
The animals really need your help! In 2011, 9,340 dogs, cats and other animals found great new homes through Nevada Humane Society. In fact, over 10,000 homeless dogs and cats are counting on us to provide lifesaving care and to find great new homes for them this year.

The scenic two-mile walk route is on a paved path surrounding the 77 acre lake at Sparks Marina.
The walk is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
Your canine friends and other pets who would safely be able to do the walk with you are welcome.
- Dogs must be leased at all times.
- Please clean up after your friend (plastic bags available)
- All animals must have current rabies vaccines
- Please do not bring female dogs in heat
- Your feline friends and puppies under 6 months of age may be happier at home. A nice way to include them might be to bring or wear a photo of your pet.
Join us for the post-walk festivities. They will include music, entertainment, refreshments, exhibitors, prizes and free samples
