Decorate & Give Rooms a Twist Without Putting a Hole in Your Wallet

Do you love wall decor but are not ready to commit to a mural? The good news is you don’t have to. Wall vinyl decals have become increasingly popular over the past few years. They are great for almost any type of room, especially for kids rooms because you can really go all out without fear of others judging… after all, it is a kids room!

Wall decals can accentuate a room’s space or can completely bring life to it. There is a huge market for these out there and they come in all the shapes and sizes that you can imagine. My favorite ones are; fake chandelier over headboard, headboard illusion, animal decals for kid’s rooms, plants or trees growing on the walls, and fake furniture in a pop of color next to real furniture.

Besides peeling off easily (in case you get tired of it or have a change of heart), wall decals are great for spaces in your home where you might have very simple or contemporary furniture because it will bring that unexpected twist to the room. Another HUGE advantage of decorating with wall decals instead of actual paintings & furniture is that they are very inexpensive; therefore you can have a little extra money for other projects around the house.

Here are a few examples taken from websites that sell them:

Tree decal

chandelier

castle

white trees

I have found that places like www.etsy.com and www.amazon.com have very competitive prices.. so check them out if you are interested and show off your style!

I love wall decals - they're great for temporary homes like college dormitories and also for rooms that you might not want to paint - like classrooms, nursing homes, children's bedrooms. It's also a great way to try something innovative and fresh without breaking the budget or costing an expensive un-do if you don't like it!
