New Construction Homes Newburgh NY ~ Do I Get a Warranty?
In the State of New York, All Builders Must Provide Buyers with a New Home Warranty
When working with buyers for a new home in Newburgh NY I frequently get asked about a Home Warranty. Most question “if” the builder is giving a warranty, rather than “what does the builder cover”. The expectations are not always there that a warranty even exists. I have actually found that to be a bit surprising. New York State law has taken away a good deal of the concerns as it requires the builders to provide a warranty on all new construction homes. New York State law works to protect the consumer by placing specific requirements on the builders of how the warranty works, and is required to be included.
