Hawthorn Woods is one of my favorite towns in the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. 
Hawthorn Woods prides itself as is a quiet community featuring nine parks and over 80 acres of parkland area. Families and nature lovers can enjoy their summers biking or hiking the many trails, as well as skating and sledding in the winter. Every year Hawthorn Woods sponsors a wonderful Concert in the Park Series in the month of June, July and August. It's a wonderful time to enjoy great music in a relaxed atmosphere.
