Got the house

If anyone read my posting from 01/05/2007 you saw that I had an offer in of a house for sale by owner.  They wanted full price and wanted me to compensate my Realtor myself.  I offered them what I felt was more than fair and THEY were to compensate my Realtor 4% of the sale price which saved them 2 % if it had been a 6% listing.  This also gave my Realtor an extra 1% whereas he would have had to split a 6% listing with the listing agent.  I figured everyone would be happy.  They came back and said the price is $2.2M and if I wanted my Realtor paid I had to pay him.  I quickly told them to go to hell and keep their house that has been FSBO for about a year without an offer.  The seller called me today and said they will accept my offer of $1.9 if I cut my Realtor out.  That pissed me off even more.  I told him my new offer was $1.3 and he gave my Realtor 16% just because he was being an ass.  He saw my point and agreed to take $1.9 and pay my Realtor 4% of the sale price if I can close in the month of January.  The day is over and we are all happy.  The home inspection is tomorrow and all contingencies will be lifted if it passes.
