Silver Spring, Maryland is definitely a Dog Friendly Place to live. All of the newer and a lot of the older Condominiums in Downtown Silver Spring allow dogs.  Along with many busy professional people now living in Charley Cook Downtown Silver Spring with their dogs, comes the need for Doggy Day Care.  There are 2 excellent Dog Day Care Centers convenient to, or located right in Downtown Silver Spring.

Cleverdog - Located in the Downtown Silver Spring zip code 20910, just outside the Central Business District off of Brookeville Road.  My little dog loves this place.  I like how thay keep the smaller toy dogs together and near the front desk.  Little dogs love to be with and follow people around.  They take the dogs out for 2 potty breaks a day.  The best thing about Cleverdog is the 24 Hour Nanny (I mean Doggy) Cam.  If you miss your dog during the day while you're at work, you can click on the their 24 Hour Web Cam and see your pup.

DogStay - Located in the heart of South Silver Spring - Downtown off of Georgia Avenue.  This place opened just a couple of years ago. This facility is within walking distance of condominiums and apartment buildings in Downtown.  I like how very clean, bright and big this place is.  The dogs are separated by size and temperment.  Lots of room and space, it has couches, beds and seems like a real home.  They also get 2 potty breaks while there during the day.  The dogs have their own playground at the backof this facility.  The little dogs are treated extra special at the front of the place.
