Hi Gary - Our cats do the same thing. If we eat in front of the tv, they sit in front of us and stare, unblinking, until we give up and go to get them something too. It's hard to focus on a movie with someone's eyes on you.

Pia, my ocicat, does that to me every morning. She sits under my lamp on my desk (because she's cold) with her tail wrapped tightly around her front paws and stares intently at me. If I lean forward and ask her what she wants, she starts licking that spot on my forehead between my eyes. Then she goes back to staring at me, trying to transfer thoughts to me via her little kitty brain waves.
