The Old Farmer's Almanac

The Old Farmer's Almanac 2008 (Old Farmer's Almanac) The Old Farmer's Almanac is a little book that I must purchase each new year and I read it over and over through out the year. There are all sorts of interesting stories, Tastes & Trends and my favorite "The Weather predictions".  Since 1792, The Old Farmer's Almanac has published useful information for people in all walks of life: tide tables for those who live near the ocean; sunrise tables and planting charts for those who live on the farm; recipes for those who live in the kitchen; and forecasts for those who need weather For-casts. Click on the book to visit The Old Farmer's Almanac and find out your weather predictions.

I love these... I have not bought one in a few years.  I am going to Amazon now.

Christiana, I purchase one every year. And, it is quite interesting how little they have changed.  8-)

Christina, I haven't looked at one of these in forever. I planted tomatoes once and all they did was bloom themselves silly...not ONE tomato! I had someone tell me that I planted them in the sign of the flower. They learned in the the Farmer's Almanac. I guess I need to read one before I try to grow anything else!

I've been reading the Almanac all my life. My Grandmother got me hooked on it.

Hi Christina, I think the Almanac has been around almost forever.  My grandparents used to plant their garden by it...and they sure had a good garden.
