Congratulations to you it is good you are continuing your education and knowledge for your customer's.
Perhaps now you'll be able to educate some of those real estate agents who steer eligible home buyers away from the VA loan or steer sellers away from buyers with VA eligibility.
Congrats Doug! Thanks for your past service to our country and your continued service to home buyers!
Pat - Thanks! If we don't stay educated and on top of things, we fall behind.
Lenn - I'm a STRONG advocate of "knowing your mortgage options," especially when it comes to the VA loan. Active duty and Veterans "earned" this right! Thanks!
Elizabeth - Thanks! I was excited when our company (Fairway) decided to create this designation, becuase I have always tried to help Veterans/Active Duty with the VA loan. I think it is good to recognize those who serve us - the ones that have paid and are paying for our freedoms.
Thank you Doug for serving your country. And congratulations on the
Military Mortgage Designation. Have a great day.
Nice to know there is such a speciality in the Mortgage Profession. We need more industry professionals dedicated ot helping our military families.
Congratulations.. I have been trying for years --as have many of my VA buyers to have the VA drop the rule that the VA buyer cannot pay any portion of the Commission due the buyer. FHA dropped this years ago. They do a disservice to the Veteran, because they cannot be adequatedly represented. With business models such as entry only where the co-broke fee is $500 or 1 apple... to those who don't split the co-broke. this doesn't make sense any more. So buyer agent don't want to work for nothing.. and sellers agents represent the seller and not the buyer... and in my opinion the Veteran should be able to make a difference between the co-broke fee and the buyer agent fee so they can be fully represented if they choose. Please helpl
Doug I loved your post sadly in the Greater Los Angeles area there would be no way a VA loan would fly, sellers and agents do not understand that it works.
Doug, congratulations on receiving the Military Mortgage Specialist designation. Our veterans deserve the best representation.
Hey Doug! Congratulation on attaining the MMS designation, The industry needs more well trained VA mortgage specialists to overcome the misconceptions about VA Loans. VA loans are a terrific mortgage product both for the Vetaran and the Seller.
Doug, congrats on the new designation. I've closed a few VA deals recently and thought that they were an awesome program for those that have served our Country!
Doug -- congratulations on your new designation. As someone who does many VA loans, both purchase and refi, I know how important they can be to our veterans and active duty personnel. Keep up the good work.
Proud of you, Doug! And I now that you will serve those who serve with excellence!
Thanks Louise! Also, a BIG THANKS to you for doing what you do and taking the initiative on this program!
Doug - I just (today!) launched a VA loan video - I'd love your 02 on it...

Marketing = Message + Delivery Medium... this is a good way to get the message out!
congrats on the designation.. 100,000 servicemen/women coming home = $$ to be made.
