Calgary new hospital in Seton, Southeast Calgary will not open its doors to the patients this summer!! The latest news from AHS came that the first phase of this project will start operating early this fall with neurosciences and academic family medicine clinics.
While residents and health professionals are not very happy with the news, it is good to know that the construction work is already finished, and that an agreement regarding the tunnel indemnification ( the tunnel connects buildings on both sides of 45th street) has been reached between AHS and the City of Calgary. What mainly remains to be done is the installation and testing of all the equipment inside the hospital!
