Do you love Baseball? Does your child love baseball? Do any travel ball?
Well if you answer yes to those questions you should get to know the Field of Dreams in Manteca. The Field of Dreams host a number of Travel Ball Tournaments (they also have some indoor soccer). They have 6 baseball diamonds. Each one is a miniature major league stadium; Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, Angel Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Tiger Stadium, or the Polo Grounds.
The fields are full size fields but the décor reflects in miniature the real major league field. My son Corbin frequently plays there. For a fan (parent) it is great. They have real stadium style seating and the fields are organized around a couple of sports bars (with authentic major league pricing on stuff!).
You can watch the game in the stands or set up in the sports bar with the air conditioning and watch them play. There are also a number of major league sporting events on TV.

I am going to watch my son Corbin play a twilight double header there today (Saturday June 2, 2012).
I understand there are other Field of Dream Locations. Make sure your son or daughter has a chance to play at one of them.
