Twenty one acres of lakefront park:  kayaking, canoeing, sailing, boating, camps, special beach programs and festivals.  

Public restrooms, changing rooms and shower facilities, picnic area, pavillion and grills, fountain, playground, volleyball courts, all-terrain wheelchair available for use by visitors with physical disabilities.  

Beach is open from dawn until dusk daily along with the food concession stand, weather permitting, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

We have a similar park beach near by (was only 5 mins. from the house I just moved from).  Always a nice place to go and relax and just clear your head.

Thanks, it's a pretty cool little beach Q Man.

Isn't that house amazing BLiz..............this is just a little village, but so many great finds around here, especially along the lake.

Gets awfully crowded on the weekends Conrad, but it is indeed.

That's when you bring in "the help" Ginny.

Need to get there more often Rene, it is so close to me.

Works for me every time Sally and David................

Seems like that's the only place I can truly relax Sharon...............I love the beach.

With my bad knees, volleyball "watching" is about all I do Irene, but it sure is good exercise.  I have enough trouble just walking in the sand.

Thanks Sheila, it wasn't a very clear day when I took the photos, the reason the beach wasn't very crowded, but I'm happy with them.  I don't go as often as I'd like to go Sheila.

Spent a few hours at the beach yesterday, it was such a lovely day.  I imagine starting today, it will be much more crowded than it has been, the kids are out of school now.
