Why is that important? MLS stands for the Multiple Listing Service, this is where Real Estate Agents find and share homes for sale. Bedford county is served by both the Lynchburg MLS and the Roanoke MLS. Most agents are members of only one MLS. Therefore, if your agent are not in the Lynchburg MLS, then they cant see or show a home in the Lynchburg MLS, or if they are only a member of the Roanoke MLS they can only show home sin the Roanoke MLS. Basically, if your agent is a member of only the Lynchburg MLS, agents from the Roanoke MLS will not bring their buyers to your Bedford home for sale. And if your agent is only a member of the Roanoke MLS, agents in the Lynchburg MLS will not bring their buyers to your Bedford home for sale. So do you want your home only showed to half of the people looking to buy a home in Bedford? Or if your a buyer do you only want to see half of the homes for sale in Bedford?
