Mold Screening: This level of inspection utilizes a visual assessment of the entire building, identifies "red flags" for mold. High power level flashlight, Moisture detector (HYDRO-PROBE) and moisture meters (TRAMEX) will be used to aid the inspector.
A Mold inspection/screening is a non-invasive examination of the building to identify and report on conditions that have led to moisture intrusion, water damaged and conditions conducive to microbial growth (MOLD) or actual existence of microbial growth. If such conditions are present, sampling is recommended. Sampling may also be recommended in the absence of visible conducive conditions as a precautionary measure; such as a carpet sample, as such conditions may be concealed. A mold inspection is valid only for the date of such inspection and cannot predict future microbial growth. A mold inspection is a picture in time. The data results of the organic microbial (Mold) testing should be used to aid the course of action for remediation.
Testing/Sampling: The purpose of a mold testing/inspection is to determine the presence of mold spores in an indoor environment. Our mold test will determine what kind of mold genus is present, the (raw count) amounts found in the air and if the amount of spores found are normal for that environment or elevated. This service will determine the type and concentration of mold spores in a defined area.
