Where in the world???? What an amazing little guy ... with an amazing little suit! Brilliant words, my friend .. just brilliant. Maybe it's the fact that I'm older, but this advice seems more and more important to me as each day roars by. Practicing them can be hard. But oh so necessary .. esp. in our business. Thanks for a wonderful Sunday (and anyday) tip ...
Gene
Miss Banana, I love your positive attitude. What usually happens is, we do get in our own way! Love this post!
It's rare that I laugh out loud all my by myself, but this made me laugh. Thanks
Sheila - Super Puppy has a job! Lighten up lives!! Have a fun day!
Teri - sure! The idea is to have anything that distracts you from whatever situation that's bothering you - long enough so that new ideas come to you.
Scott it works!
Fred I'm chuckling thiking of you dressed up a little guy! Cute. You know what I say. Why wait a day to feel better. When you can easily change your thoughts right now and get back to a place that works so much better than fussying and worring and figuring it all out. ahhhhhhhh
I like the idea of just letting things go, that sense of "things will work out, just let it".
Cute photo Anna!
'Stop trying so hard to figure it out' ... good advice, Anna! I've found that things work out the way they're meant to anyway ... eventually.
Anna, Thanks for this blog. It has reminded me to take a breath and step back. With Will on another vacation, I have been majorly stressed out and for what??? It just really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Happy Sunday. Love the pooch!
Leslie think of super puppy and simply laugh! It's just so silly -
Jeanne & Ralph some society's don't teach that. It's up to each one of us to chose how we want to feel and stressed out isn't what I want! And hey you're talking to a gal that dresses up in a banana suit!
Dick what's really fun is being aware that things are getting a little off base - really fast. When that happens we don't create a lot of frustration - and we let in ideas that will solve whatever - instead of trying to FORCE it. We all know how well forcing works!
Richard & Beth - thanks I am and same to you!
Ron that's what my MN Mom taught me growing up. Get busy doing something else and the problem will disappear and a solution will pop up. This little pooch loves dressing up!! It's my neice's little guy.
Gene I'm pretty sure my fiesty niece created this picture - she sent it to me! I knew it was perfect for this message. Brilliant - I had and still have a great teacher/mentor. It does take practice but it's so worth it.
Roger if it's not us who would it be? LOL Me too!
Karen - you got it! That's exactly the point! Laugh!
Tom they always do and would so faster if we'd all just stop hanging on for dear life!!
Carie and the sooner we just let go - the sooner the 'great idea' pops into our head! Inspriration doesn't come from trying so hard or frustration.
Super Puppy is inspirational! How can you be stressed out when you look at how darn cute he is?
Yep that speaks volumes and nothing really to add that wasnt mentioned. Cant see the forest for the trees, comes to mind but not really needed as this post is perfect as is!
PS - Love the SP
Kudos
I am blessedly gleeful at this time! :) Booyah!
Thank you so much for today's big smile, that puppy is priceless, he reminds me of my wife's little dog who loved every new shirt or costume that she bought for him.
Donna - exactly!! Too darn cute!
David - glad you appreciated it!
Laura - of course you are!! It's who you are! Blessedly gleeful!!
Bob my pleasure. My little shitsu Wookie also loved dressing up and prancing around. Too cute!
Anna- Donna reblogged this and I'm so glad she did. I wasn't sure when you wrote this because if it was today I was going to feature it in Bananatude. I think we all need to make a copy of this and pin it up in our offices.
Anna, I just love this and it is so very true. You always make me smile.
Love it! Now if I can drill this into my husband's head the world would be perfect. :) I learned this not too long ago and it has made my life so much less stressful!
