Dale, great energy tips especially on light bulbs...i have to say I have done a good job of switching nearly all of my bulbs out to CFLs...thank you!
I'm definitely suggesting this one, Dale. It's the best darn explanation of energy efficient lighting that I have read. Thank you.
Dale,
Great tips for saving $$$$. I hope all is well with you and you had a great weekend. Take care and have a great day.
Good morning Dale -- great reminders to save energy in a home office situation. Quite frankly, I have been disappointed with the lifespan of CFL lightbulbs -- maybe I had unrealistic expectations.
Dale, Those are some great tips! If you shop around, Costco, Walmart and Home Depot have the CFL's in packages that are very reasonable for the package. I haven't purchased them for quite awhile but it seems like a package of 4 or 6 was $13 or $15. At those prices, it really makes sense to make the switch even if they don't last more than a year or so!
Dale, those are some great energy audit savings tips and much appreciated too! I also find that I need to check my lights more frequently when I get up early, because once the sun comes up, I forget to shut the lights off.
I'm really appreciative of these great tips.
Thanks Dale!
Another great post, Dale and also suggested! Having an energy audit can save money and help our planet as well!
Hi Dale, I do agree and suggested as well. I work from home and so does my husband and some other family members...so I will forward a copy of this post to them.

Hello Dale ... All I can say is GREAT post, photos, diagrams, words and some wonderful advice! Maybe you can help me with mother-in-law, she keeps setting the Thermostat for our AC Unit to 50 degrees, I am afraid someone will end up getting sick because of this ...

Dale,
I really like to see the side by side comparison of the two lightbulbs.
I have a question for you... if something is turned off but still plugged into the outlet, is it pulling energy?
Excellent, excellent advice Dale! We noticed our bills go up since working from home. Its an adjustment for sure.
