Why Hire a Realtor with a CDPE Designation for Short Sales?
Many Realtors take the CDPE Short Sale Training more than once because it is THAT informative about the Short Sales process.
RE/MAX is so committed to the value of this CDPE Short Sale Program that they are subsidizing hundreds of dollars of the cost of the program for each of their agents. It is even easy to sign in for distance training at http://training.cdpe.com/www/index.php if you do not want to take the 13 hours of training at a specific time and place.
Anyway, why Hire a Realtor with a CDPE Designation for Short Sales? Lots of answers can be obtained at http://www.cdpe.com/home but would you like the SKINNY?

This is wise advice to anyone seeking to buy a short sale property or sell one. A Realtor with a CDPE is the only way to go given the complexity of these not so "short" sales and the ever changing rules and regulations hitting the books often daily.
Sounds like the CDPE designation is a great one to have if you are going to do short sales :)! With the complexity of the transaction, hiring a Realtor with more training is wise :)!
Hi Cheryl....Staying on Top of your Game makes you a Pro...Well Done Re/Max for Supporting your agents!
Wow - nice that Re/Max is subsidizing it. I thought about getting it, but short sales are actually pretty rare around here, so I think I'll just avoid them.
I know that if you have to sell your home in a short sale situation, you had better have some expert advise in your corner. But for me, I hope I never see another one.
