Who wants to move to Florida?

Maryland Moves to FloridaThat's a question I'm asking Crofton Maryland residents throughout this month and next.

Many people in the Crofton area arrived 20 or 30 years ago for a government, consulting, or other white-collar career position in Washington or Baltimore.  Now they're either retired or on the brink of retirement, with secure financial futures and lots of home equity.

Spending the cold winter months in Florida is a realistic option for them - in fact, moving to Florida altogether is on the minds of some.

That's why I have declared (drum roll please)...

F is for FLORIDA in FEBRUARY!

Margaret~ what a genius idea, synergy at its best, working with Katerina and Cyndee. I wish I was closer, I would love to see you in action!  Best of luck, I'm hoping you will have a full house.

Margaret- What a great post! Yes, moving to Florida this time of year is a great move especially with our prices being at their lowest in years. There are great bargains right now, so there is no time like now! I am excited to work with someone as professional and organized as you. It is an honor to participate with you. I only wish that I could be there for your seminar in person. Katerina

Katerina, I figured I'd better post something about this so you and Cyndee could link to it, if you want, in the coming weeks.  I'm putting it on Focus On Crofton today, and that desperately needs some incoming links!

Lisa - If no one comes to he event (always a possibility), I'm still getting two months of advertising focus from it, and that's a good thing.  I WILL take advantage of that!

You have come up with a novel marketing idea, Margaret, and I wish you well with it. Please let us know how it goes. Most of our Florida snow birds leave by Jan 1 but this might be just the thing for those contemplating a move. Bravo.

You're right, snowbirds often head south after the holidays.  I'm targetin wanna be snowbirds - folks who are thinking they might take advantage of this market to acquire a Florida property now while values are down.
