#2 If my tax payment is post-dated by the deadline (December 10 or April 10), will I still have to pay a late fee?
Sad to say, the deadline is absolutely firm in requiring the payment to be physically in and received by the Santa Clara County tax collector by 5:00 pm on December 10 and April 10. Proof of posting on or before the due date will not exempt you from penalties.
Late Fees and penalties are assessed immediately when installments are not in to the office by 5:00 p.m. on December 10 and April 10.

Parking
A limited number of Free 1 hour parking spaces are available at the West Wing side of the Hedding Building. Please click here to access a parking map. Metered parking is available along Hedding Street, and there is parking offered in the parking garage (next to the National Guard Armory) at 171 West Hedding Street.
