Howard Shultz is back to Starbucks! This is the leader of Starbucks and an important message to shareholders.

Love that coffee or maybe the Latte or the Cappuccino?   People are interested because the original is back and you know what the message is?  Customer service!!  So this is now a huge company and they are looking back at how they do things and update how to serve the customer to the best of their ability.

I am not a shareholder, but now I think maybe I should be because this is my message to myself with my business and it is for all the companies I have stock in... what are you doing today for your customer?  How are you making every customer feel special?

Now to our business.

How can you make your sellers feel special?  Oh this is NOT easy.  It is not suppose to be easy.  Are you marketing every property like it is your own?  In our Michigan market that is all we can do because the prices are just so painful.  We must market like our careers depend on it.  Oh yea, they do!

How can you make you buyers feel special?  If you work with buyers this should be easy.  Buyers are gold.  I am interested to hear how you do this.

Starbucks is back to customer service and we should all think about this important message.  How are you going to make all your clients feel like they are gold?

Did you know that they did a blind taste test of all major coffee brands in the US? Do you know who won? McDonnalds! Starbucks has such a great marketing campaign it makes you think it's higher quality than the other guys, but it's not. And don't tell me it tastes better, it's all in your head. I personally drink foldiers.

Hi Karen:  I think the better our own customer service, the more referrals we will get.  I think that if Starbucks is going to upgrade their customer service now that Howard Shultz has returned, Starbucks will be even better.  Thanks for sharing.

My personal brand of customer service is the pillar of my business. Yes, a lot of agents can put a seller's home on the MLS and yes, we can all show houses to buyers, but it's customer service that separates the average agents from 'exceptional' agents.

When talking with fellow agents (shop talk), they are always amazed by the lengths I will go to make a client happy. Well, I am more amazed that they don't apply the same service. Truly, I thought most agents rolled out the red carpet for their clients, but I guess I was wrong.

I don't mean to sound like I'm tooting my own horn or anything, but after 15 years in this business, I've heard a lot of stories from individuals who's previous agents just didn't give a damn about customer service. I hear this far too often.

For those of you that do go the extra mile, you know what I'm talking about!

Great post!

Excellent point Chris! Most sales people could care less about their client, they jut want to get the sale, and clients can see right through that. It's true in any industry, and it's sad.
