Springfield Butcher first opened in 1976 in a shop on Bland Street next door to the Pepperidge Farm Store. It didn't take long for my mom to discover the store and even today I still shop at Springfield Butcher in it's current location in Springfield Plaza.
The staff at the store are always friendly and ready to help. The meat is always top quality and they make their own sausage, cut their own meats and have tasty seafood items as well. Springfield Butcher offers different package options for anyone who would like to stock their freezer. They have beef or chicken Shishkabobs marinated and ready for the grill. The home made crab cakes are some of the best I've eaten.
