WHY SHOULD I USE YOUR INSPECTOR? BUYERS FAQ

When we negotiate an offer for a house, Buyers have typically a 10-day window to perform inspections.

They often ask for our inspector recommendations, although there are some who choose to find their own inspectors from a neighbor, friend or family. Or, they might know someone who is in the construction business who offers to inspect their prospective new home purchase.

So why should you use our recommended inspectors over the recommendation from a friend, or the family member who is a sub-contractor for a builder and understands the building process?

Our inspectors are very thorough and we lovingly call them "deal breakers." Why? Because they find the little things and the big things that sometimes cause Buyers to back away from a purchase. This is fine with us. We don't want anyone to buy a house they are not comfortable with and/or that has major defects.

Our inspectors are current on building codes and can flag improper installation on the roof, building exterior and interior, and many other items that can be missed by someone with a cursory knowledge of the building industry codes and regulations.

You get what you pay for. Sure, you can get a free inspection from a friend or their buddy, but will their expertise be as thorough as someone who does it every day, day in and day out?

You are under no obligation to use any of the inspectors we recommend. We do so as a service to our Buyers because we have found their service to be superior. We do not receive any monetary gain from our referrals. We simply want the best for our Buyers.

Why should you use our inspector? Because they come highly recommended,we have worked with them and we do not have complaints after the sale from Buyers about issues the inspector "didn't find." Check out their references if you like, but know that we give Buyers their contact information because so many other buyers have raved about their service.

I find some buyers really distrustful of the inspector list I give them.  They seem to think we want to grease the deal through.  NO!  We want to make sure you have a thorough inspection.  Great post!

I recommend certain home inspectors all the time. I make it clear that they have the right to use whomever they want, but in most cases, my recommendation are the ones that are used. I trust their work and know, the reports will be right.

Chris Ann, exactly. My inspectors are the toughest in town.

Joe, same here. In most cases Buyers use our inspectors, but sometimes they have their own choice. Not to say that there aren't other good ones out there, but let me say this - the same ones show up with the top agents in town. There is something to that, don't you think?
