17 Comments on How Do You Keep Your Shelves Stocked.... It Takes Constant Effort!!
Barbara, you are the "bomb' on this one and we all need to get more in touch with our marketing side!
Ginny....it really does work well.... it's a matter of REMEMBERING TO DO IT....timing is everything in real estate and if you wait until the home closes to notify people that you sold it and you can sell theirs too, you'll have gaps in your business....you'll have voids on your shelf.... fill the gaps.
You are so on top of things Barbara. For us, direct mail has not been effective/efiicient (and that may be due to our biz being different). However, I've noticed a few neighborhoods where we seem to be doing particularly well and getting a lot of calls, so I may rethink things and try for a couple of neighborhoods (and I may use in conjunction with signs). Good food for thougth.
Hi Debbie....if I were in your business, and I had a job in a neighborhood, I'd filter that neighborhood with a mailing that stated "our service has been well received by your neighbors".... "need flooring....give us a call" .... "we bring the store to your door"....
Barbara -- with your consistent marketing efforts, it's no wonder you keep the shelves stocked and the cash register ringing.
Hi Michael.... I could see how difficult marketing would be to someone who is working for a living....I only market..... it's a full time job to make continually improve it.... as I improve it, I share it with AR peeps....
Hi Barbara. You are marketing machine.
Hi Conrad.... I spend the better part of every day doing marketing...
Hey Conrad.... the Celtics are playing game 5 tonight.... my money's on them....the "old men"....
What a great reminder....I think too often we concentrate on today not tomorrow!!! Love this idea!!!
Hi Deborah.... whenever I stop thinking about the future and only the present, I have to work double time to catch up.... to keep business flowing evenly, one needs to think ahead and take advantage of what you have in hand presently to market for the future....
Barbara, You need to write a book on RE marketing. It would be a best seller!
tom....funny....believe me, no one would read it....
Barbara, I am not trying to be funny, I am very serious. Your teaching background along with your marketing skills would be wonderful.
Thanks, tom.... I have all I can do to do what I'm doing now.... this is fun....that's probably wouldn't be....
Barbara, you are so on top of your game.
Aimee....it's a full time job....
