How do you stay "almost always" positive especially during tough times?

The answer is simply this: Nothing lasts.  When you've been around long enough and you're really paying attention and you are able to look back on life and realize that nothing lasts, not the good or the bad, it gives you a sense of valuable perspective.

When things are good and you know nothing lasts, you are more apt to appreciate it more, celebrate the good, savor all the moments.  If you think the good is going to last forever you tend to waste the moments, put off the enjoyment, postpone the celebration. Conversely, when things are bad such as tough markets, struggling economies or  personal strife, and you remember that nothing lasts, you realize you can still have hope and optimism and that gives you the energy you need to move past the bad.

I encourage you to accept whatever comes your way and stay positive, energetic, enthusiastic and focused not just during the good but the bad times as well, because after all - nothing lasts.  Oh, by the way, if you are NOT feeling positive, energetic, enthusiastic or focused, take a tip for me and never let it show!
