Singing in the Rain - Toad-ily Awesome on Wild Wednesday

Last Thursday night we had a monsoon all night (an outer band of TS Beryl). Everytime it rains like that we get hundreds of toads popping up in the woods and on the golf course behind our home. The noise is so loud that sleeping is impossible.

It was still raining and still sounding like the Invasion of the Toads when we got up. Shayna was all excited and showed us what was happening on our windows. The windows were covered with toads; these two were obviously out on a date.

If you listen carefully, you’ll hear Shayna meow; I think she wanted to be part of the chorus.

Oh wow, what a cute video...We have had nights when the crickets and toads were at it, and it is difficult to sleep through all that noise. Shayna needs to do a solo next time. LOL A
