Staying on Top of Things in Real Estate

Below is a post that I did back in 2012, I have noticed that it could be improved, so I am doing that now.  I have taken out videos that were non-working, made the fonts easier to read and added links, among other things.  Also, since I certainly no longer use the Blackberry Torch, I have provided a video for the phone that I currently use and it allows me the same sort of benefits that I enjoyed with the Blackberry back then!

Having a smartphone certainly makes things a lot easier for me in Real Estate.  I currently use the Samsung Galaxy S7 and it seems to be a good phone for me.  I am able to access the MLS, get emails, text messages, etc.  Also, I believe that I am able to sign off on documents that I have uploaded to eSign.  If anyone else has feedback on a smartphone that they believe is better for all of this stuff, I would greatly appreciate hearing about it.

That is a good idea to put the videos in with this contest entry. My entry is always iPad and apps for the iPad.

Thanks Cheryl, I think the iPad is going to be my next purchase, it would be so handy to have when I am out showing properties!  I have never really used any Apple products, so there would probably be a learning curve as well.

Brian, I went from Samsung to Apple about 5 years ago and have never looked back. I even converted my fiance from Samsung. My parents are holding out though haha!

I don't think that I am going to convert to Apple nation Amanda S. Davidson , I almost did a few years ago, but the salesperson that I dealt with was more of a Droid person and convinced me to go that route.  I have been very pleased with the Droids.  I have an iPad, but I haven't been very impressed, so I think my next tablet is going to be a Droid and I will be able to compare the two platforms to truly figure out which I like best.

I have a Samsung Galaxy too. I'm not even sure what number it is. It may be 4.

I have enjoyed the Galaxy Sharon Tara , I think I have had the 3, the 6, now I have the 7.  Sounds like you are stuck in the dark ages with the 4 though, maybe it's time to upgrade to the 9?  I have heard that it takes amazing photos!

I'm not really an upgrader by nature. It's never been my thing to get the latest and greatest. If I'm happy with something I tend to hang on to it until it no longer is of use to me. My Jeep is 10 years old and my laptop is 7 years old. I dread the day either of them needs to be replaced! For now the phone is serving me well.

You seem to be the exception to the rule Sharon Tara , it seems that my technology often doesn't last that long, so I have to upgrade.  Cell phones don't seem to last more than 2 years.  I had a Galaxy S3 and right around the 2 year mark it wouldn't turn on.  I had worked perfectly until then.

I have no clue how long I've had my phone. My husband just checked and I got it June of 2014. Yikes...I hope I didn't just jinx myself!

I hope that you didn't either Sharon Tara , hopefully your current phone will last forever!!!  You can maybe hand it down to Zack when he is ready for a phone, haha.
