First reaction is:

colors are great choices.

page is too wide and too long.  Length should be no more than 1.5 pages down.  Width: I should not have to use the scroll bar to view side to side. It is distracting. Have your web person change the width to 100%, which would fill up the screen no matter the resolution.

You have a huge amount of white space until the Google toolbar.

I will read through the entire site later and give you more details, if you want more.

Ross,

Although i´m not a Realtor, this is my 4th year in the Internet Marketing industry for realtors.  I checked your website and the first impression was good.  Has not too many bottons on the left, and all the necessary information.  When you build your website, try to think of resources your clients would benefit from.  I do not think google bar would be good thing to have there.  If i´m looking for something on google, i won´t need to go to your website to look on Google.  I will go there directly.  All the links you have on the botton are beneficial in some ways but a problem in others.  I believe that you performed a link exchange when linking to websites such as active rain.  When you have too many out bound links, your website lacks of quality for the search engines.  ActiveRain.com is a great website to have there, because people would be able to read your blog and that is good.  But try to limit the number of websites you have there.

I have a question for you.  Does your clientele speak Spanish?  If so, i would recommend to translate the website.

the best thing you can do for your website is to keep it simple, up to date and blog, blog a lot.  That really helps bringing traffic to your website.

You have done a good job of search engine optimization. When I checked tonight you were #4 on Google for the search term "Spokane Real Estate". That's great in anybody's book. That being said, your page is way too big in terms of download size. You're right at 140K for your page size which basically kills anybody who isn't on broadband. If you look at the Google results I just mentioned you can see that your competitors are all under 40K. I suggest that you strip out some of the interesting features and put them on additional pages inside the site.

That will help your page rank by giving you more pages and make the site's front page load faster.

My final comment. I have a hard time reading reverse type. (white text on black background) Lots of other old coots like me have the same problem, and they may be your market.

Once again, great job on the SEO work.

Ross,

The opinion provided in this post is that of my entire family: I like it...it has everything that a potential buyer or seller wants and more.  My fiancee who is a programmer does not particularly care about the color scheme, but conceded that it is an awesome site. My younger son believes that it has some awesome gadgets.  Finally, my son a Jr. at MIT, majoring in computer science agree that it is a good site, but that it's a bit busy.

Overall, my family likes your site and gives it an A-

I agree about much of what everyone said here. It looks like you fixed the 100% thing. I like how you have the articles on your home page but I think it gets to be too much. Can you have someone make a rotating section where it displays them? or some way of displaying a smaller amount of info on the front and lead into some other page. Like a teaser of sorts. Otherwise it seems to get too long and confusing when you are scrolling down. I personally like finding the main info I would need on the front page and in depth stuff as you click through.
