Where do you search for listing?

By
Real Estate Agent with JCS Realty

I have been working on promoting my listing, both rental and for sale, and was wondering what site people use most when they are searching for listing.

I know that most real estate professionals will use the MLS, but what else do you look. And what do buyers or renters use to search for listing?

Like everyone else I would like to get the most out of my listings and my time, so any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Greta.

You can try this link   http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites.html

It's Craigslist.  Go to your state and then select Real Estate For Sale and put in your criteria in the search box. it might help you!

hmmmm, thats a great question where do the consumers go...if it was just one place I'm sure you'd know about it.  John A. there has a good site (craigslist), but its full of scammers and spammers I rarely go there for much.  If I were you I'd just pretend like I was looking for a home in your area go to google/yahoo where ever and start a search like your looking to buy.  It should become evident soon where most consumers look by the choices your shown.

Good luck.
