The Art Of Marketing You

Hi everyone... I hope you all had a safe, fun, amazing holiday season and that 2008 has been a good one so far. To start off the new year, I'd like to share a couple of things that caught my eye in the past few days.

Probably the thing I like most about the internet, is the ease and ability it gives us to discover such a diversity of interesting info. The first "goodie" I'd like to share has nothing to do with marketing but since there are so many sharp cookies here on AR, I thought this would appeal to a lot of you.

A post by Cynthia Brumfield on IPdemocracy.com caught my eye. Promoting itself as the YouTube for intellectuals, BIGThink.com includes interviews with "public intellectuals" from a range of disciplines including music, religion, art, politics, etc... and even though I don't need any more stuff taking up pieces of my limited time or attention, this site did. Check it out!

In case you haven't seen or heard about it, Michael Martine of Remarkablogger.com(Remarkable Blog Consulting and Coaching) is giving away a free 96 page ebook titled How to Start a Business Blog, A 12-step process for starting a business blog packed with vital and actionable information.

I haven't had time to read it yet but I've seen/heard nothing but good reviews about it. here is the link if you'd like to get a copy for yourself. And now, the marketing goodies...

Kathy... thanks, I'm trying to spice up wallpapers in a practical way, the calendar idea was popular with my clients last year so we'll be doing them every month now.
