The Google AJAX Search API is a Javascript library that allows you to embed Google Search in your web pages and other web applications.

My question is, does this affect your overall Rank with Google? Can it drag your load time on your page thus be passed by from the Spiders?

I recently put this on my Auction webpage Click Here To View and I really like it. I think it compels visitors to stay longer however I want to make sure Google would somehow recognize it and throw me a bone! (Or an increase in my Rank)

Thank you for your insight.
