Thank you so much for the great blog! I cannot agree more! My issue is the eviction process is very long (in NJ anyway) and many tenants "know the system" and will do things like break toliets in order to avoid having to pay rent. Its amazing how well they know the loop holes!
Many landlords learn the hard way not to the nice guy.
Right on, Lori ... we have to stay firm on our rentals fees and late payments. If you do NOT stick to your rental agreement, then they may have a case against you for allowing a modification to take place. On time, or late dues, and then eviction.
