What Is The Status Of The Home On Wedgewood Drive In Granite Bay, CA?

I just got a call from a lady who asked me this exact question. I get many calls from people who "just want to know" the status of properties that they found on our blog when they Google the address, since I publish the addresses of new bank owned foreclosures in Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis and Granite Bay every week.

After determining that this lady called me simply to give her information on this home on Wedgewood Drive because she lives on the same street, my first thought was to say:

"I'm not Google."

Really, there are many people out there who must think that real estate agents exist simply to answer questions from the general public. Maybe I should consider starting up 1-900-Ask-An-Agent and charge callers $5.00 per minute while I put them on hold to look up the property they're curious about!

On second thought, that's why there are websites like Trulia where people can ask random questions...and now even ActiveRain has a Q&A section. There are many agents who take the time answer a lot of these questions (and I've even answered a few of them on Trulia myself a while back) but right now I'm too busy with real clients to spend time on the Google Answers real estate hotline. :)

• If you would like to know who owns a particular property, visit your County Recorder's office.
• If you would like to make an offer on a property, have your real estate agent do the research.
