Turfwood is a relatively small condominium complex in the heart of Solana Beach, close to the famed Del Mar Race Track and Fair Grounds, within 1 mile (as the crow flies) of the wonderful Solana Beach beaches, close to the popular Cedros Design District, and offering a multitude of dining and shopping options along the coast road, Via de la Valle (try Pamplemousse), and in the Cedros Design District (my fave there is the Wild Note Café).

Fletcher Cove is a popular beach, and the Annual Fiesta Del Sol is an incredibly popular annual festival. And the Belly-Up Tavern in the Cedros Design District is known far and wide for its excellent live music performances.

Major commuting routes are also close by the Turfwood community – the 5 freeway access is ½ mile and the Coast Road (Historic Route 101) a little over a mile.

Turfwood is a community of only 64 2- and 3-bedroom town homes with attached single car garages, in clusters of 2, 3 and 4 homes east of the 5 freeway with plentiful trees and open space, a pool, and ample guest parking spaces. Turfwood is hidden away from the hubbub of Solana Beach and some homes back up to open space, yet the bulk of the Solana Beach amenities and services are just minutes away.

Turfwood is a stable condo complex, with only 3 sales in the last 18 months. There are currently 2 3-bedroom Turfwood homes for sale priced at $519K and $545K with a lower priced 2-bedroom unit coming on the market shortly (mine). Recent sales were both at $535,000 for 3-bedroom 2.5 bath homes.
