Land O’ Lakes FL Real Estate Market Report – May 2012

In May 2012, 84 homes were sold in Land O' Lakes with an average sales price of $152,000. This compares with 80 homes sold during the same period last year which translates into a 5% increase in the number of homes closed and a 2% decline in the average sales price (from $155,000 to $152,000).

At the end of the month there were 311 homes for sale in the area; 27% of the available homes sold in the last month. 311/84 = an inventory  of 3.7 months . There has been a 47% decrease in the number of homes available for sale from May 2011 to May 2012 (from 589 to 311)
