Ahhh... Summer, Finally!!!

After a gorgeous day yesterday with nothing but blue skies and the Rocky Mountains for a back drop, today's forecast is the same and its finally startingto feel like summer. After a weird weather pattern this year its nice to finally FEEL like summer is upon us. 90 degree back to backs and combine that with very little humidity make Denver Colorado one very nice city to live in or visit.

So much outdoor activity with people walking, running, walking their dogs, riding their bikes and just enjoying the outdoors, its one of the many things that I love about Colorado.

Want a great place to visit for summer this year?

Sure the beach is always great (and may be calling me too, lol) but if you havent been to Denver you are going to LOVE it!

Great people, great things to do. Hiking biking and Breckenridge, Winter Park and Beaver Creek, among several other resorts, have fun things and a lot of "on mountain" activites that bring as much draw in summer months as they do in winter.

And if this isnt enough here is a little added incentive to come visit (or relocate here)...

David Colorado is fabulous all year long. Summer was always my favorite after ski season!  I lived in the Vail area for 5 years after college and loved the hiking, biking and skiing.

David, if Denver had a beach on one side and those beautiful mountains on the other I would already be on my way.  I love Denver.  I've cycled through the Rockies with a team out of Denver, and I've done  a little work at the U of Denver.  I always love it when opportunity calls me back.  It's a great place to live.

Hi David,

Absolutely beautiful picture and makes me wish I was there right now. I am surprised you get so hot though. We were about 81 yesterday and I went to Big Bear Mountain Resort yesterday and it was even 80 degrees but they had a lovely breeze which made it feel cooler.

I want to go through and visit Colorado when I drive across country to take her dog to her in 2 years.
