10 Comments on FAQ#9 - Is This a Safe Neighborhood?
Hi, Jerry. One of my favorite sayings is, "Be the source of the source, and not the source of information".
Jerry- I hear this same question and answer in much the same way except I did not know about the Neighborhood Scout Report. I will be checking that out for myself.
Jerry:
All good answers when some one asks if a neighborhood is safe. Let the buyer check the neighborhood out. I haven't hear of Neighborhood Scout Report either. Got to check it out.
Hi Debbie, I need to remember this saying. " Be the Source of the Source, and Not the Source of the Information." Have a Wonderful Evening!
Hi Debbie, I am sure you may be able to have that Neighborhood Scout Report since I found it online, and it appears to be National, and not just local.
Hi Evelyn, I love this new resource for buyers to get crime statistics in the neighborhood they are planning to move too. You may also have this Scout Report available in California too.
Jerry~ Talking to the neighbors is a great suggestion.
Yes, Donna. The neighborhoods are always a good source of information for just about every community.
Jerry, here the Washington Post has a section in the online edition that lists incidints across the city on a little map. We can just send people to their site.
Hi Pat, Your Washington Post online edition is a great place to direct residents in your area, who are concerned about any crime in their neighborhoods. It good to be a guide and direct them to the information.
