FAQ #2 Do I need to Stage my whole house if I am selling it?

This is a question I am frequently asked.  Although I do not believe it is always necessary to stage your whole house I do believe it helps to make more of a connection and allow buyers to see the potential and purpose of each room in the home.

Buyers only know what they see not the way it's suppose to be.  With only ten percent of buyers being able to envision how things can be, home staging can help show the purpose of a room or even the size with proper furniture placement.

Here is an example of a vacant room before and after home staging.

With furniture placement in this room a buyer can find it easier to see how to place their own furniture.

From up above the room looks very large and wide.

With home staging we are able to show how to create conversational areas to entertain and enjoy time with your family.

Can potential buyers see themselves living in your home?

Hi Linda,  I really like how you staged this room!  Pulling the color from the stone fireplace throughout the room looks wonderful, and the furniture arrangement makes sense.  Nice work!

It's BEAUTIFULLY staged, Linda. I, too, love the colors you've used!  Great job!

Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.

Linda - I agree - the more rooms that are staged, the better the home is presented.  Great example here of the power of staging.  Love the seating area you've created, with the ottoman at the end.  This is now a wonderful conversation area.  The grandfather clock looks so much better on the other wall, too.
