The mountains or the beach? Which is your preferred destination?

I would love a combination of both though the Ocean is great, there is something majestic about mountains.

It's the mountains for us!  As soon as our house sells here we're going back to the mountains!!

Since we live in a warm sunny climate and have a pool we are drawn to the mountains for a vacation. Last year going to Switzerland and France and experiencing some really exquiste mountains and scenary was simply thrilling!

Richard, There's something to be said for both.  My mom is from the mountains of West Virginia and they're retired there.  My in-laws rent a beach house every year in Atlantic Beach, NC.  We'll be heading to the beach later this week to join them for a bit, although I still want to squeeze in a mountain trip later this year.  Bill

I like them both, but I guess since you're making me choose one I will go with the mountains :-)

Richard, I don't know how or where you took that shot, but it is worthy of a huge frame and a big blank wall!

I am a beach kind of guy. I love the sound of the pound of the surf. I prefer going in off season when sweat shirts are required and the numbers of people is diminished.

Richard, as long as swimming is not involved I kind of like the beach---but would hate to give up the mountains---so I will take both.  Sorry can't choose :)

Only one choice?  For a real vacation I'll take an all inclusive on the beach.  Let someone pamper us, forget the diet and eat all we want, when we want and play in the pools and ocean in Mexico.  Still reserving the right to run to the high mountains for some wilderness camping now and then :) 

For now it's almost time to show homes and prepare to list one tomorrow.  Hope you're enjoying a great weekend.

Well, since I live in a ski resort town, I'll go with the beach. I love living in the mountains!

I love the beach personally but the beauty ofgrowing up in Jamaica is that you could be at the beach while enjoying the mountains in the background.

Richard since I live in the mountains my choice for vacation would be the beach. But maybe I am an unfair demographic to use

I will take the beach, but only if I am looing at it from my boat with a fishing rod in hand!

I love the beach...but this year I might do some camping in the mountain s!
