What time do you get to the office on Monday?

I amazed how many agents in our office do not show up on Monday's until noon and some not at all.

That is 20% of the week gone and this is not counting that many of them also took the weekend off.

I understand agents need personal time, but it is no accident and not just 'luck' that the top producers are the ones showing and selling homes on the weekend and showing up at the office early ( like 7 am) on Monday mornings.

Ok - now i am off to show homes. Will I see you at the office tomorrow morning at least by 8:30 AM?

I have found that the weekend is a lag period that takes until Tuesday to gain momentum.  I for one have been slightly affected but work seven days a week just the same. It has said that only Tuesday & Wednesday are the only complete productive days of the week.

Good post Lori. So true. A lot of consumers have a list of things they want to get done during each week. They usually start their list in Monday so a lot of calls are made on Monday. If we aren't available on Mondays, we're missing the majority of opportuinities for business. If there isn't an answer, they are on to the next call. I am usually raring to go on Mondays. I am making my list of things to get done this week and will get off to a good start early tomorrow morning.

Everyone has their own way to work-- sometimes, especially now with the internet, you really don't need to go the office.  I agree that you need to put on your "work clothes" and suit up  to be ready... but punching a clock is not for everybody.   I work late, late into the night... blogging, doing social media, writing notes to clients, doing research on properties.  A different style from yours, but not necessarily wrong.  There is more than one way to get it done.

But it is good to know that you are there for the early...  others can be there for the late!  Keep up the good work!
