Mel, heartwarming always to hear about women taking care of each other. And then to stop and visit with Carla too, I'll bet you are jazzed now for the week.
Mel, What a perfect threesome of lovely, talented, gifted and entertaining ladies. I can't believe that I wasn't there. Seeing you all together is a real treat and knowing that you were all able to relax and rejuvenate is even better.
I've always thought of Fishhawk Lake as Gayle's Oasis from the world and envy her calm and peaceful surroundings. How nice that you and Debb were able to share the pleasure of her lifestyle and be able to spend such cherished time together. I suspect that your Kindred Spirits have grown considerably closer.

Read about it on Debb's post and Gayle's post...it was a Hallelujah moment for all of you and we are delighted that you had a superb time...It reminds of the last time we were in Chianti...We had an outstanding meal, and I was explaining to our charming waiter in my best Italian (speak excellent shopping and eating Italian) that in California, we would call this moment died and went to heaven, and he countered with the Italian version of this which is FINALMENTE! their expression for the Hallelujah moment, and I wish you an ocean's worth of those...A
Hi Mel - how great that you girls all got to spend some quality time together - sounds like you had all had an incredibly wonderful time and how could you not as you're all some of the finest women on AR! I'm so happy for all of you and it makes my heart sing that Active Rain creates and fosters such amazing friendships. I'm sure this was a trip that none of you will ever forget - there's no greater gift then the gift of wonderful friends!
