Cheesy and Crappy Apartments for Rent in Culver City
Los Angeles CA

My daughter pointed these out to me this morning when we were visiting up in Culver City. They are adjacent to each other, on a busy street corner, at Overland and Woodbine in the Palms area, one facing the main road and the other facing the side street.
I had to stop by to snap a photo on the way to the freeway to head home.
The Chee Zee Apartments, in particular, are interesting. Did you catch the name of the management company?
What's in a name??
Do you think these might draw renters' attention?
Or scare them away?
I didn't see any For Rent signs, and with this rental market things might be pretty good.

Jeff - That is hysterical and I personally would not be turned off by the name.
Very catchy, funny and memorable. Who ever came with the name is a genius.
Well spotted! Those names are too funny. In fact they seem like they belong to a movie set. You sure you did not see Robin Williams around there? For some reason I picture him involved.
Very cool. What a creative name for apartment complex.
I say draw... You certainly couldn't forget their (very nongeneric) names! You'd be sure to get some laughs when asked, "Where do you live?" Oh, just a Chee Zee apartment in Culver City. Great find, thanks for the laughs!
P.S. A little checking on Google and these 2 apartments have gotten a bit of attention on photo sites like Flickr etc.
So catchy and good for your daughter for noticing. Funny post!
Jeff I can see why you would want to take a shot, so funny.
Have a great week.
Can't imagine giving friends directions and saying, "I live in the Crapi Apartment complex." Friend, "Crappy?" "No, Crapi." Too funny!!
It guess these building owners have a sense of humor. That's refreshing.
I wouldn't have believed if I didn't see this Jeff! That is just too hilarious...you think they planned it like that?
Hi Jeff - I wonder if they have any trouble renting those apartments? Maybe the reant is inexpensive, but I don't know if I'd want to live in a place with that name. Listening to all the jokes would get pretty old. It can't be real, can it?
Imagine the days when local grocery stores would deliver groceries and the customer gave them directions to their homes * VERY FUNNY!
That's just too funny!! Maybe we should change our business name to get the attention? LOL. Thanks for the chuckle this morning.
What will they think of next? I'm sure some folks will move in just so they can have a conversation starter.
Cheryl - well they sure made me chuckle. Nope, I didn't see any signs but the LA rental market is pretty competitive
Debbie - ha ha, Snafu Construction is pretty good. It had to be deliberate
Endre - well it would make me pause, for sure
Melissa - no it has been that way for some time from what I saw on the Internet. Deliberate, or someone's name.
George - I DID think the Kraft Management company was a nice touch!
Jeff
haha that is very funny. I can imagine the conversations that ensue when someone tells their friends where they are moving/living.
I don't think that is a great advertisement, but it might work, especially since they are in the same area...which one would you choose?
Too funny. I agree with Maureen, #2. I think it was supposed to be Capri and the owner probably hasn't seen it yet or no one's told him yet.
That is too funny. I can't imagine wanting to tell anyone that I live in either Chee Zee or Crappi apartments.
