Very interesting...just shows what some redesign savvy can do!
That sounds like it's going to be one heck of a home Cindy! Hope a buyer shows up soon, but whoever it is, is going to be quite lucky :)!
Hi Cindy...I found this to be very interesting as we had a home in the McLean High School area, in fact you could walk out of our back yard into the playing fields. We bought the house, not because it was a great home, but for the location. It actually turned into a great home as we loved being so close to school for my son and daughter. I can imagine someone being willing to invest heavily in remodeling a home in that area.

Cindy, that's interesting and we see the same thing in parts of Silicon Valley and San Francisco. My guess is land values in Falls Church are high. They must be to justify that huge re-build.
Cindy, this is truly taking a property back to the studs and beyond! Dallas land values inside our loop are also very desirable. Fuel costs have played a role in that desirability.
This is going to be a fantastic opportunity for a lucky Falls Church/McLean buyer.
3 floors, wow! Will there also be a full basement? Sounds quite impressive. I'd enjoy seeing pictures of the interior once it's finished!
Cindy, sounds like an exciting process! We have many buyers scraping and building a new and improved and keeping the location! What fun!
Sharon this one has truely been gutted including 100% new electric. It is in a highly sought after area so I suspect the builder will have this under contract before it's finished.
Chris Ann-it will be. Others in the neighborhood are undergoing similiar transformations.
Yes Rob it has a full basement with a bedroom, media room, recreation room with wet bar, full bath and second laundry room. It walks out in the back to a stone patio.
Joan-I'm surprised this is happening in Denver too. Is it closer to the old Stapleton Airport location?
